Brands like Hill House Home and Loro Piana feature paisley in Fall/Winter 2026 collections.

Paisley is making a comeback as a leading print trend for Fall/Winter 2026. Brands like Hill House Home and Loro Piana have incorporated the motif into their collections, with runway shows from Etro, Celine, and Dries Van Noten showcasing the pattern.

The most notable shift is the placement of the print. Designers are focusing on the lower half of the body, with paisley trousers and denim taking center stage. This move away from jackets and tops is due to the print’s potential to feel heavy when worn close to the face.

Etro’s luxury flared pants and more affordable options from Zara, Adidas x Liberty London, Reclaimed Vintage, and Free People offer a range of styles. Abercrombie & Fitch has also joined the trend with its relaxed jeans in a bandana-print finish.

While trousers lead the way, jackets remain part of the story. Hill House Home’s wrap jacket presents a refined take on the print, contrasting the Americana vibe of bandana-style paisley. The styling approach is consistent: pair the print with boots and a plain knit, letting the trousers be the focal point.

The color palette is also significant, with berry, burgundy, and other autumnal tones dominating the denim and trouser offerings. This positions paisley as a motif for colder months rather than a resort-season pattern.

Paisley, known as ambi in India, has deep roots in the subcontinent’s textile traditions. The trend‘s resurgence brings global attention to Indian craft, with several Indian labels showcasing their interpretations.

Sunil Mehra’s Centenaire offers paisley menswear, including digitally printed accessories and clothing. In womenswear, Torani weaves metallic paisley into Banarasi silks, while Chrkha provides a contemporary twist. Amyra, an accessories brand, incorporates the motif into embellished bags.

For brands, the trousers-led approach is practical. A paisley bottom or accent piece is easier to merchandise than a full head-to-toe look. This strategy works across ethnic and western wear, catering to markets where both styles are popular.
