Charli XCX and her husband George Daniel proved that wedding guest style doesn’t have to be a choice between following the dress code and keeping your own look intact. The couple attended the wedding of The 1975 frontman Matty Healy and model Gabbriette Bechtel at Castillo del Lago in Los Angeles, an event that carried an old Hollywood glamour dress code with a gothic edge. Charli arrived in a ruffled black wrap gown with a plunging neckline and thigh-high slit, pairing it with Jimmy Choo Love slingbacks, a black clutch, and black Bulgari square-framed sunglasses. Daniel wore a classic monochromatic suit with shirt and tie.
A Starry Guest List Dressed the Part
The wedding took place at Madonna’s former estate in Los Angeles. The guest list followed the same all-black style notes set by the couple. Bride-to-be Devon Lee Carlson, who announced her engagement last month, attended with her fiancé, actor Duke Nicholson. She wore a vintage gray and black cheetah print Roberto Cavalli dress. Her sister Sydney chose a beaded cream and black ’30s-style flapper dress. Model Alex Consani wore a black slip adorned with crystal flowers and butterflies, while Stassie Karanikolaou wore a bodyskimming black gown with braided ropes cinching the waist.

For the bride, Gabbriette wore a voluminous white dress with a sweetheart neckline and sculpted bodice, ruffled long sleeves, and a full skirt that fell into an embroidered train. Sources said the couple set the old Hollywood glamour dress code, and the guests delivered.
Charli and George were among the first of their famous friends to arrive, coordinating in sleek all-black outfits that fit the gothic tone appropriate for Gabbriette’s wedding. The choice was consistent with how both have approached wedding guest dressing in the past.
