The Italian brand emphasizes raised basics, presenting pieces that function well in daily life while maintaining a polished aesthetic suitable for the season ahead. Editors have identified several standout items, ranging from outerwear to accessories, that capture the current direction of the label.
The single-breasted double wool coat stands out as a focal point of the collection, priced at $8,400. The garment features a deep midnight-blue hue and is distinguished by a stand collar and shirting-style cuffs. Editorial Coordinator Brinley Sinclair Knopf described the piece as having a level of detail that justifies the investment.
“My jaw actually dropped when I caught sight of this coat from Prada,” Knopf said. “It takes ‘the coat is the outfit’ to another level, which is exactly what you want from your fall/winter outerwear. I love the stand collar, the embroidery at the neckline, the deep midnight-blue color, the shirting cuffs—all of it.”
The coat is designed for versatility, intended to be worn open over a white T-shirt and slouchy jeans for daytime or cinched and buttoned over a little black dress for evening wear.
