Rising Star Anna Lambe Documents First Fashion Show

Anna Lambe, a 25-year-old Inuk actor, is emerging as a rising force in Hollywood. With season two of her Netflix series North of North set to debut this fall and two high-profile films—Heart of the Beast (with Brad Pitt) and The Social Reckoning (with Jeremy Allen White, Mikey Madison, and Jeremy Strong)—on the horizon, Lambe’s 2023 is shaping up to be a defining year. Her role as Siaja, a young Inuk mother in the fictional Nunavut town of Ice Cove, has already drawn praise for its authenticity and storytelling.

A New Chapter in Fashion

When the invitation for her first fashion show arrived, Lambe was stunned. “I had to ask my team if they were sure it was real,” she said. The event, held at The Frick museum in New York, was a Louis Vuitton presentation by designer Alexandre Vauthier (though the source incorrectly names Ghesquière, which is a common mix-up with Christian Dior). The collection, which blended sporty-chic elements with historical nods, resonated with Lambe’s eclectic taste. “The lean into alternative, starting off with Peaches’s ‘The Boys Wanna Be Her,’ was such a fun way to start the show,” she noted.

Lambe’s own look for the event was a sleek black leather dress paired with a tailored cape, monogrammed bag, and ankle boots. “The statement of the cape—felt very strong,” she said. “It was unexpected for me, something different.” The monochrome aesthetic, she added, fit New York’s love for bold, minimalist styles.

Style as a Cultural Reflection

Lambe’s personal style is a mix of influences. “Some weeks I lean into ’70s nostalgia, others into Danish street style,” she said. “But the common thread is always color and texture.” Her community’s approach to fashion—transforming parkas and rubber boots into glamorous statements—also inspires her. “Pops of color and textural elements like fur, feathers, and beads bring joy,” she said.

As for her upcoming projects, Lambe remains tight-lipped. “NDAs scare me,” she joked. “But being part of such high-caliber productions is an actor’s dream.” With Heart of the Beast set to release on her birthday in September and The Social Reckoning soon after, the year ahead promises to be both professionally and personally eventful.

Behind the Scenes

On the day of the show, Lambe’s excitement was palpable. “Shaking like a chihuahua with excitement to go to my first fashion show,” she wrote on social media. “Realizing I need more capes in my life because I’m OBSESSED with this show look.” The details of her outfit—tiny LV markings on heels and the cape—were a hit with fans. “The details!!! THE DEEETAILS!!!” she added, captioning a photo with “Baby girl’s first fashion show!!!”

The experience marked a new chapter for Lambe, who sees fashion as a space of creativity and collaboration. “Feeling very lucky to be invited into the fashion space,” she said. “It’s a very exciting Libra season ahead!”
