Zo Kravitz & Channing Tatum Do Casual Couple’s Style

The most revered examples of couple’s style are often from the past: Brad and Gwyneth, Carolyn and John Kennedy Jr, Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet… But in 2022, a new generation of celebrity lovebirds is vying for the title of most stylish pair.

Zoë Kravitz (the predictably chic progeny of former couple Lenny and Lisa) and Channing Tatum are right up there – the actors stepped out in New York this week wearing casual outfits that perfectly complemented each other. Both wore relaxed trousers in earthy, autumnal shades, with Zoë adding a simple black tank top, a baseball cap, Adidas Samba trainers and a quilted Saint Laurent bag. Channing wore his rust-colored jeans with a white tee under a shirt.

Off-duty style aside, this couple can dress to impress, too. At the Met Gala in September last year, Zoë commanded attention in a crystal-choked dress custom-made by Saint Laurent’s Anthony

Roger Federer hints at farewell tour

Roger Federer hinted at a potential farewell tour after he played the final professional match of his illustrious career in the early hours of Saturday morning at the O2 Arena in London.

The 20-time grand-slam champion could not bring the curtain down with one final competitive victory after losing 6-4 6-7 (2) 9-11 alongside doubles partner Rafael Nadal to Team World pair Jack Sock and Frances Tiafoe at the Laver Cups.

Both Federer and Nadal were in tears at the conclusion of a two-hour-and-14-minute battle that saw the former world number ones squander match point much to the disappointment of a buoyant 17,500-capacity crowd.

Not that the final result mattered with standing ovations afforded to the 41-year-old throughout his ‘last dance’ and plenty of highlights, including a 116mph ace and one sensational drop shot winner in the deciding tie-breaker.

Federer had announced last week that the doubles contest on night

Mississippi Designer Takes Hoodvenchy to NY Fashion Week

By TERRI COWART FRAZIER, The Vicksburg Post

VICKSBURG, Ms. (AP) — Finding a niche in the fashion industry takes determination, dedication and, of course, an eye for design.

Just ask Vicksburg resident Raymond Banks, who has recently returned from the Big Apple where he was one of the fashion designers invited to participate in New York Fashion Week.

Banks got his start designing bowties, and from there, he said his love of fashion grew.

“I started designing in 2013. I made a bowtie for a program around Black History Month at our church, and from that one bowtie I catapulted into the fashion industry,” Banks said.

People began asking who made the bowtie and where could they get one.

“I was just like, I made it,” he said.

Business took off for the young designer and for the next five years, Banks made and designed unique bow ties.

On the Plus Side: Men’s Fashion Gets Extra

O

h, James Corbin. The 23-year-old boy from Brixton, a rising star in men’s modeling with a disarmingly cherubic mien and the kind of big, beautiful eyes that strike you like deep pools of joy and wisdom, is without doubt the most beautiful person I’ve ever met in real life — even if I found myself singing his name to the Jeremy Corbyn x Seven Nation Army mash-up. Perhaps it is all that revolutionary zeal: at 6ft 1in, with a pout that could launch an Ancient Greek fleet, young Corbin is making waves as one of the few — indeed, only — plus-size male models in the luxury fashion game. ‘I sincerely want change,’ says Corbin, sitting at home in Kensal Rise. ‘I just want to have the full experience that a normal model would get and I feel like I deserve that. Plus-size people deserve that and we don’t

The Evolution Of The Health Tech: Positive Change Through Interoperable Solutions

The Evolution Of The Health Tech: Positive Change Through Interoperable Solutions

The American Healthcare Industry has experienced many large-scale changes in the past few decades. This timeframe has afforded us many drastic reforms in the industry such as the Affordable Care Act (ACA) or the widespread shift towards Value-Based Care. However, the most noteworthy and significant change is the gradual adoption of software solutions into the healthcare industry. The digitization of healthcare has brought numerous benefits to healthcare organizations that are able to streamline their day-to-day operations. More importantly, these solutions have made life easier for care providers and patients by simplifying the delivery of care. In order for these complex systems to operate, they need to display competency in Interoperability.

Ultra-Processed Foods May Impair Cognition in Elderly
Processed or ultra-processed?

An article earlier this year in the European Journal of Nutrition reported that high consumption of ultra-processed foods is linked to worse-than-average performance on one particular test of cognitive function in older US adults (60+ years-old) who did not have chronic diseases such as diabetes or cardiovascular disease. The particular test was “Animal Fluency.” Never heard of it? Me either. Keep reading.

The study included 2,700 participants, average age 69. Participants were asked to recall what they ate in the prior 24 hours. Foods were “classified according to NOVA, a food classification based on the extent and purpose of industrial food processing, into four mutually exclusive groups: (1) unprocessed or minimally processed foods, (2) processed culinary ingredients, (3) processed foods, and (4) UPFs [ultra-processed foods].”

Ultra-processed foods? “…most foods described as “Frozen meals” or “Lunchables”, as well as some items described as consumed in “Restaurant fast food/pizza”
